Duties: To provide protection of clients, guests, employees, and property against criminal activity. To monitor safety, fire protection, and security of the facility. Monitor and controls boat Moring of resort guest / non guest in designated paid and unpaid boat mooring areas along the beach. Monitors and checks alarm systems, and other surveillance equipment while conducting patrols of the resort. Ensures a secure premise by thoroughly checking all buildings, stairwells, exit doors, storage areas, critical access areas, fire and safety equipment, parking lots, boat docks, launch ramps, etc., in accordance with security checklist. Communicate with key manager any unusual occurrences and incidents. Completes appropriate reports when applicable. Procures evidence and witness statements for above reports. Reports any deficiencies in safety or security of the property, staff, or guests (verbally and written). Ensures that all parts of the facility are secured and locked at their scheduled times, fire extinguishers are working properly, fire doors are cleared, and parking regulations are maintained. Perform property rounds covering all guest buildings, public areas, conference center, WET pool and resort grounds, in accordance with designated Proxy Pen check points. Assists guests with luggage and familiarizes them with the property and outlets. Also assists other departments with non job specific task: example (emptying trash cans, stripping rooms, cleaning restrooms, set up / tear down of a banquet room etc. Requirements: Requires ability to interpret / extract information and / or perform arithmetic functions. May require typing, CRT, record keeping, or word processing. May have need for good communication skills. High school diploma and a minimum of six months job-related experience.
