Now hiring Certified Teachers for Infants, Toddlers, Preschool, and Certified Floating Teachers. Kalia Care Daycare Center is looking to hire Full-Time Certified Daycare Center Teachers. Our goals are to encourage, educate and help develop the social skills our children need to prepare them for academic excellence and success in life. Responsibilities Design and follow a full schedule of activities and discover suitable teaching material Balance your teaching between logical and social exercises Use a wide range of teaching methods (stories, media, indoor or outdoor games, drawing etc) to enhance the child\'s abilities Facilitate various activities for children including songs, games and storytelling Evaluate children\'s performance to make sure they are on the right learning track Remain in constant communication with parents and update them on the progress of their children Observe children\'s interactions and promote positive behaviors Identify behavioral problems and determine the right course of action Collaborate with other colleagues Adhere with teaching standards and safety regulations as established by the official sources Excellent knowledge of child development and up-to-date education methods Methodical and creative Patience, flexibility and love for children Strong communication and time management skills Establish and enforce rules of behavior for children in their classrooms Provide basic needs for children Provide tools and resources for children to use and explore during learning and play activities Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet the interests and learning styles of children Develop and maintain positive relationships with children and parents Manage classroom activities including lessons, play, breaks and meals Track childrens? progress and report to parents Maintain a clean and tidy classroom Help children reach developmental milestones Collaborate with others to implement lesson plans Encourage children to interact with each other to develop social skills Provide appropriate supervision for children at all times Maintain inventory system for classroom materials and supplies Adhere to health/safety and sanitation procedures Requirements and skills proven experience as a Child Care / Daycare Teacher Benefits Vacation Earned Sick Time 11 Paid Holidays: New Year?s Day, President?s Day, Memorial Day, Juneteenth, Independence Day, Labor Day, Columbus Day, Thanksgiving Day, the day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, and the day after Christmas. The schools close at 2:00 o?clock on Christmas Eve and New Year?s Eve Day. Employees are paid for hours worked until 2:00 P.M. *after 90 days of employment.
