The Card Services Dispute Representative is responsible for handling all aspects of account servicing related to card preparation, including corresponding with customers via mail and phone, determining dispute rights, and filing disputes through various online systems. This position supports disputes filed from the various payment methods supported by the department. Other responsibilities include providing key support to branches and customers on disputes and card management questions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Investigate and respond to all card dispute claims and outstanding questions.

  • Critically evaluate dispute claims and supporting documentation to minimize losses to the company and/or the cardholder.

  • Complete dispute chargebacks in an accurate and timely manner in accordance to process requirements.

  • Resolve customer and branch concerns or issues related to dispute claims.

  • Clearly and professionally communicate with cardholders and bank staff on dispute claims and questions.

  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of regulatory timeframes and dispute rules.

  • Regularly navigate through multiple computer applications in order to process disputes correctly.

  • Perform other duties and projects as assigned.

  • Understands and complies with Safety in the Workplace policy.

Starting at $15.25/hr

Monday through Friday

WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Work is performed in an office environment with moderate noise levels and light to heavy traffic. An individual in this position:

• Frequently remains stationary throughout a typical business day

• Frequently operates a computer and other office machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer

• Occasionally moves about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, and other rooms

• Occasionally positions self to access drawers and shelves of various heights

• Frequently reaches for and handles paperwork and files

• Constantly communicates with customers, coworkers, and management in-person and on the phone

• Must be able to exchange accurate information
