Compliance Leader Location: CLEVELAND, OH, United States Job Family : Finance/Economics Job Type : Regular Posted : Apr 12, 2024 Job ID: 48240 Job Description Position Summary: The Compliance Specialist ensures compliance programs are utilized appropriately to manage operational and compliance risks by promoting Parker Hannifin's strong code of ethics and integrity culture. Scope/Supervision and Interaction: Daily interaction with the Corporate Compliance, Audit, and local management teams. Essential Functions: Participates in the execution and implementation of Parker's "Compliance" Programs Assists with designing Compliance, ERM, and Internal Audit policies and procedures across the organization. Monitors the Global Code of Business Conduct reported allegations and investigation process of the Integrity Line; performs analysis on the investigation process surrounding allegations received to identify trends. Monitors disciplinary actions for consistency. Prepares periodic reports for team members and customer stakeholders regarding noted insights and tailors training programs to address risks proactively. Provides value-added metrics to Leadership. Develop and deliver training programs to proactively address compliance risks and ensure expectations are clear and a "speak-up" culture is actively promoted. Assist with developing and enhancing the Compliance messaging program to ensure awareness of and compliance with applicable laws and regulations, the Global Code of Business Conduct, and Parker policies and procedures. Lead with designing and maintaining the organization's Global Code of Business Conduct, Integrated Risk Management Program, Distributor Code of Conduct, and other awareness materials. Monitors the ERM-reported risk mitigation efforts and related process enhancement projects; analyzes information received to identify trends. Prepares periodic reports for team members and customer stakeholders regarding noted insights. Assists in preparing Compliance and ERM presentations for Executive Management and the Board of Directors' audit committee. Conduct new Compliance Officer and GM orientations. Develops and maintains strong partnerships with internal business partners across the organization, including Compliance Officers, GMs, Group Controllers, Legal, Human Resources, Supply Chain, Trade Compliance, EHS, and others to support compliance objectives. Assists with Compliance Forum preparation and execution. Assists with Global Code of Conduct training preparation and roll-out. Assists with the SOX and CCQ process. Assists with department training webinars. Qualifications: Education and Experience Bachelor's degree in accounting, business, law, or equivalent education or experience. An MBA or comparable degree is a plus. Certified Compliance and Ethics Professional (CCEP) or Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) preferred / or willing to obtain certification Seven to nine years of related job experience in compliance in a multi-national corporation with investigative, auditing, or legal background preferred. Knowledge and Skills: Ability to quickly understand and apply policies and procedures. Ability to research and interpret regulations and laws and disseminate information. Ability to design processes and evaluate the effectiveness of controls. Ability to analyze financial and other data relevant to allegations of misconduct. Ability to multitask, organize, and prioritize work to meet deadlines. Excellent oral and written communication skills, as well as interpersonal skills and the ability to professionally communicate with all levels of management.
