Job Details Job Location Horizons Inc - Cleveland - Cleveland, OH Position Type Full Time   Description The ISG Quality Engineer is responsible for ensuring the highest level of product quality and customer satisfaction within the organization. This role is vital for maintaining and improving the quality management system while working across teams and divisions to drive continuous improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities: Quality Assurance: Develop, implement, and support existing quality control procedures, processes, and systems to ensure compliance with company standards and customer expectations. Perform inspection tests, and audits to identify areas for improvement and recommend corrective actions. Perform hands-on troubleshooting to start up and/or keep production running. Process Improvement: Collaborate with operations, Engineering, and maintenance, to identify opportunities for process improvement ranging from optimization, waste reduction, and cost savings. Use statistical analysis and data-driven approaches to monitor and control production processes, identify root causes of quality issues, and implement solutions. Documentation and reporting: Develop and maintain quality documentation. Including procedures, work instructions, and quality records. Utilize various analytical instruments, such as pH meters, titrators, balances, viscometers, and spectrophotometers to measure, and record data accurately to ensure continuous production. Customer Focus: Work closely with the customer service team to address customer issues, investigate quality incidents, and implement preventative measures to avoid recurrence. Training and Support: Provide training and guidance to employees on quality standards, processes, and tools. Support the development and implementation of quality-related training to improve the skills and knowledge of the workforce. Qualifications Qualifications and Skills: Associate degree or bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific field (e.g., Manufacturing engineering, chemical engineering, industrial engineering, etc.) or equivalent experience. Experience working in a manufacturing setting. Proven experience in quality engineering or a similar role. Knowledge of quality management systems, methodologies, and tools. Proficiency in statistical analysis techniques and data interpretation. Excellent problem-solving skills and analytical skills. Basic understanding of regulatory compliance and quality assurance principles. Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and drive change. Strong organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively. Proficiency in laboratory software and data analysis tools.
