Posting End Date: June 30, 2024 Employee Type: Regular-Full time Union/Non: This is a non-union position Enbridge Gas Ohio is hiring a Labor Relations HR Manager who will manage labor relations activities across the United States while ensuring strategy is applied consistently and is aligned with business objectives. As the Manager, you will oversee and provide strategic direction for collective bargaining negotiations and provide support for contract administration, including, but not limited to, bargaining, grievances and arbitration, unfair labor practice charges, and contract interpretation. Here's what you will do: Lead the development and implementation of strategic and tactical plans that comply with existing collective bargaining agreements and all labor and employment laws (state and federal). Lead negotiator for collective bargaining negotiations, where applicable. Lead, mentor, and coach the US Labor Relations team in dealing with matters relating to the administration, application, and interpretation of collective agreements. Provide support and recommendations to various stakeholders across the organization, including management at all levels, as it relates to strategy and change to the business which impacts unionized employees. Responsible for communications between the company and unions including, but not limited to, programs and initiatives. Participates as required and necessary in M&A activities. Develop, monitor, and evaluate labor relations metrics. Maintain and develop relationships with other labor relations professionals and organizations. Who you are: You have: A related Bachelor's or degree with a minimum of 10 years' experience in Human Resources, a minimum of 5 years' experience in Labor Relations OR a minimum of 10 years' experience in gas utilities. Significant experience in dealing with labor relations issues including grievance handling, arbitrations, human rights, discipline, and discharge. Knowledge of Labor Relations legislation across the United States. Proven facilitator skills. You are: An effective and experienced coach, facilitator, and negotiator. You can: Lead a team under pressure and in conflict situations. Preferred Assets: Experience as the lead on negotiations with significant bargaining units. Working Conditions: Travel to various locations in Canada and the US required approximately 25% of the time.
