Chromalloy Product Engineer in Lam Luk Ka, Thailand

  • Design, maintain and improve the repair process of aircraft engine components.

  • Design tooling and fixture to facilitate the aircraft part repair process.

  • Optimize/improve repair process by introducing new equipment/technology or new repair technic.

  • Participate and coordinate with cross function in order to provide the necessary engineering-related information to facilitate work processes.

  • Cooperate with Operation team to achieve production requirement, reduce rework, increase yield.

  • Initiate and implement process improvement through Chromalloy production excellent program (CPEx).

  • Participate with Chromalloy international engineering team for repair process best practice.

     

​​​​​​​Education and Language Skills

  • Bachelors of Engineering; Aerospace, Mechanical, Metallurgical, Material or Industrial is preferred

  • Good command of English with minimum TOEIC Score 700

Communication Skills

  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret blueprints, customer specifications, general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Must be able to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

Mathematical Skills

  • Strong statistical and computer skills are required for data analysis such as calculating product capability analyses.

Reasoning Ability

  • Ability to troubleshoot manufacturing problems, collect data, establish facts, and perform root cause analysis.  Will be required to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with abstract and concrete variables.

Others

  • Must be computer literate.  Working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel, PowerPoint and Word.  Working knowledge of 3D modeling software such as Unigraphics is a plus.
