Chromalloy Production Planner in Lam Luk Ka, Thailand

  1.  Functional                                                                  
  • Plan and produce daily production plan with an approval from Head of department or Team Leader by using the following information.

  • Daily operation work status from Repair Status Sheet. 

  • New coming works with BOI unit at end of each working day.

  • Receiving parts from receiving report issued by Shipping and Receiving department.

  • Discuss with Manager and Team Leader to set the priority schedule to place the defective parts into operational work process e.g., furnace operation and NDT operation.

  • Follow up on pending or delayed work progress with Cell Leader and reports verbally to Team Leader in order to ensure that repair work is finished with the agreed delivery date.

  • Review and update of daily production plan as event of work operation delay or possible early shipment in system.

  • Follow up repair works from subcontractors. 

  • Manage and control inventory of pool part and customer part systems to ensure that parts are record and used with customers properly.

  • Analyzes production specifications and plant capacity data and performs mathematical calculations to determine manufacturing processes, raw material, tools, and human resource requirements.

  • Centralization of communication and coordinate with other departments to determine the status and make sure that production can deliver the right output at the right time.

2.  Meeting/Briefing                                                     

  • Participate in meeting and discuss with Team Leader or Unit Manager on job prioritization and related work issues in planning.  Weekly meeting with Unit Manager and other units to update work status, new company policy and general work issues.

3.  Consultation / Coordination                                   

  • Coordinate with Team Lead, Inspector and Customer Service on actual amount of shipped parts, shipment that unable to make on time delivery and incomplete documentation e.g., unclear PO, mismatch of information between PO and PD in order to ensure smooth and timely accomplishment of the repair orders.

4.  Report                                                                       

Prepare and update data with related persons or units on the following reports;

  • Repair status report for recording daily and monthly operation work status for each stage.

  • Incoming & final report to Customer Service.  

  • Minor recycle and scrap report to summarize all reworks and scrap parts for production unit.  

  • Work in progress based on backlog sheet to Finance department for further execution.

  • Requisition form to Purchasing, BOI and Shipping units for further execution and future reference.

  • Weekly shipping schedule to Customer Service.

  • Work upon supervisor’s assignments or any other job duties as assign.

  • Minimum 2 years of working experience in manufacturing industry.

  • Good command both Thai & English

  • Compute Literacy (Advance excel skill)

  • Experience on ERP system or Inventory control system.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Business/Supply chain management.

  • Proactive and strong communication skills, ability to effectively communication to all levels of the organization both internal and external.

  • Team attitude; eager to cooperate with others with exceptional interpersonal communication skills.
