• Follow all company policies, procedures, and work instructions in the completion of daily activities with minimal input and supervision to ensure successful accomplishment of company objectives.
• Perform receiving inspections to verify that incoming parts, materials, and documentation meet requirements and are suitable for use.
• Document, identify, and segregate nonconforming product.
• Make requests to suppliers for missing or incorrect documentation.
• Perform visual and/or dimensional inspections of mid to large volumes of similar parts to ensure product conformity to specified requirements.
• Follow appropriate sampling plans per direction in Procedures, Work Instructions, Job Operations, and other documents.
• Document inspection results, measurements, and other relevant data accurately.
• Interact with other employees and departments in a professional manner in addressing product quality and related issues.
• Provide other departments with information and assistance to support them in accomplishing their objectives.
• Contribute to and participate in improvement activities within the department and the company.
• Follow procedures and work instructions as written and recommend improvements as necessary.
• Perform any other task/activity assigned by the supervisor within the scope of Company business.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with policies, guidelines, and regulatory requirements per the Sealing Devices Quality System.

Experience

Required

• 1 - 2 years: Vision System and Microvue
• 1 - 2 years: Quality Control
• 2 year(s): Mechanical inspection

Education

Required

• General Education Diploma or better
• High School or better

Preferred

• Associates or better in Other or related field

Licenses & Certifications

Preferred

• Certified Quality Tech
