McLaren Health Care Manager Computer Hardware - McLaren Careers in Lapeer, Michigan

Position Summary:

The Manager Computer Hardware leads a team enabling the delivery of a high-value capabilities to the McLaren enterprise related to its PC end point devices. The manager will be responsible for dependable service delivery, successful project delivery, financial health, process development and improvement, short-term and long-term strategies, and relationship management for their technology service areas.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities As Assigned

:

  • Responsible for managing the delivery of services related to IT endpoint devices including the installation, maintenance, and inventory management of hardware and software assets.

  • Manages and reconciles IT budgets within technology service areas

  • Manages the delivery of projects within technology service areas, meeting time, schedule and quality commitments

  • Collaborates with process teams to create and improve process contributing to technology service areas dependability and efficiency

  • Regularly interacts with cross-functional IT teams to assist in the design, develop and integrate IT processes and procedures utilizing best practices and industry standard frameworks.

  • Provides strategic planning and management for end point technologies to improve end user experiences.

  • Understands McLaren Health Care strategies, offerings, and technologies and can apply knowledge to identify solution opportunities

Qualifications:

Required:

  • High school diploma or GED.

  • Eight years of work experience in information technology within a healthcare organization.

  • Three years of experience in managing an IT team and projects with influence of senior level management and key stakeholders.

OR

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, preferably in computer science, information systems, business administration or another related field.

  • Five years of work experience in information technology within a healthcare organization.

  • Two years of experience in managing an IT team and projects with influence of senior level management and key stakeholders.
