Job Title: Program Management Manager

Salary/Grade: £58,500 - £73,200 per annum (depending on experience)

Location: Larne (hybrid – 3 days a week in office)

  • Up to 20% bonus

  • Car allowance - £475pcm

  • Contributory pension scheme - Caterpillar will double the employee's contribution up to 6%.

The opportunity

The Program Management Manager for Large Electric Power will be managing a team responsible for the controlling, scheduling, and task management for a global portfolio of high visibility complex programs and projects for the Containerized Genset product line. Incumbent will manage the solutions side of the business, partnering with customers to design custom product solutions. This is a team leader role, managing a diverse team globally.

What you will do:

  • Facilitate projects, lead critical meetings, develop / validate network diagrams, lead integration and compression sessions.

  • Designing, establishing and monitoring the organization's project management goals.

  • Collaborating with clients on using a disciplined project management and project controls approach and coaching them on their project-related roles and responsibilities.

  • Collaborating with Power Solutions Network teams to keep projects on track.

What you have:

  • Understanding of the intricacies of Electric Power projects and the tools and resources needed to manage projects effectively.

  • Ability to plan, mobilize and distribute resources to fulfill business objectives and plans.

  • Competency in MS Project, POL, and/or Power BI report.

  • Ability to apply policies and practices for planning and administering a budget.

  • Participates in developing budget adjustment procedures and practices.

  • Develops and manages large and important budgets.

Degree: Bachelor’s Degree in engineering, computer science or finance desired

Additional Information

Up to 25% travel is required for this role.
