KBR are looking for an exceptionally motivated, enterprising, and goal-oriented IT Software Development Scrum Master.

THE ROLE

As a Scrum Master, you will lead multiple global scrum teams in using Agile methodology and scrum practices, helping the product owners and development team to achieve customer satisfaction. You will be responsible for removing impediments, coaching the team, resolving conflicts, and supporting the product owners.

Under general direction, uses specialised knowledge or skills to solve complex and unique problems, or direct the daily activities of a business, technical support, or functional support team. Establishes priorities for the completion of assigned tasks. Uses judgment to interpret internal and external issues and develop best practices. May direct resources, prioritize tasks, and provide guidance to less experienced team members. Relies upon experience, interpersonal skills, and broad knowledge of field to ensure task completion in compliance with policies, procedures, and business strategy.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Utilise extensive expertise in Azure DevOps for functionality, tracking, and project management.

  • Lead multiple scrum teams, implementing Agile methodology and scrum practices effectively.

  • Organize product owners and development teams to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.

  • Co-ordinate efforts to remediate impediments and coach scrum teams on resolving blocks.

  • Mediate conflicts and issues that arise between cross-functional teams.

  • Train team members to achieve higher levels of scrum/agile maturity.

  • Support and educate product owners as needed.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant discipline or area with at least 5+ years’ work experience as a Scrum Master

  • Scrum Master Certification required

  • 3+ years' experience with Azure DevOps and software development

  • Ability to analyse and think quickly and to resolve conflict

  • Knowledgeable in development and change management techniques

  • Ability to adapt to work with and lead multiple teams in different time zones

  • Strong communication, interpersonal and mentoring skills

  • Ability to adapt to a fast paced changing environment

  • Self-motivation and ability to remain focused in the middle of distraction

  • Sound judgement, attention to detail, accuracy, and follow-through on actions including the flexibility to perform in an ever-changing work environment

  • The ability to communicate complex ideas in a clear, concise manner (verbal and written) across functional and technical departments

  • Possess the capacity to work on multiple tasks at any one time, handling conflicting demands, prioritize workload and effectively delegate while maintaining high quality standards

  • Expertise in rapidly comprehending the functions and capabilities of new technologies
