KBR Systems Coordinator in Leatherhead, United Kingdom

Title:

Systems Coordinator

Location - Onsite Bridgewater site 2-3 days per week

Duration - 6 months

Accountabilities

These are shown in three groups; those that are (i) general to the role, and those that are specifically for the two material management solutions in place on HPC, being the (ii) Interim Expediting Tool and the (iii) Supplier Portal.

General

  • Embrace the role as "Data Advocate"

  • Analyze generated data on an ongoing basis, identifying trends and making proposals to the business relating to this

  • Work with Level 4 Single Planning Environment (L4SPE) team in developing suitable Material Management (MM) governance reports to protect the Project from missing data/forecasts/material gaps, including PowerBI dashboards

  • Maintain the established data quality target and monitor this within toolset & dataset in use

  • Proactive troubleshooting of system issues with Project team.

  • Escalation to Line Manager & Project team of any actual or potential problems within the systems and procedures which would adversely affect planned delivery of critical equipment

  • To conform with existing HPC procedures, compliance & ethics relating to the phase of work

Interim Expediting Tool (IET)

  • Provide a focal point for the MEH Programmes adoption of the IET system, including user accounts, implementation, performance, guidance, training, and data reporting

  • Provide a focal point for the MEH Programmes adoption of the IET system, including user accounts, implementation, performance, guidance, training, and data reporting

  • Develop existing training material where required (to include any new features/changes)

  • Ensure familiarity with IET reporting and Power Bi reporting suite and develop reporting capability to meet project needs.

  • Support the MEH Programme Stakeholder Group when queries arise with IET data

  • Support the Project Controls and L4SPEwhere there is an interface or other specific requirements from IET

Supplier Portal

  • Train to become a Supplier Portal (Manhattan) super user & champion

  • Provide an MEH programme level focal point for Supplier Portal, including supplier onboarding, implementation development, performance, training, and data reporting

  • Support other workstreams such as Material Delivery to Site (MTS) in the wider MM implementation

  • Support the ongoing enhancement of existing training (to include any new features/changes)

  • Support the MEH Programme stakeholder group when queries arise Supplier Portal data

  • Support the Project Controls, L4SPE, Asset Suite and Data Factory teams where there is an interface or other specific requirements from Supplier Portal

  • Ensure Supplier onboarding to Supplier Portal is managed in a sequence and priority aligned with the MEH Programme’s needs

  • Provide oversight, guidance, and input into the Supplier Portal supplier onboarding activity (business as usual plan)

  • Monitor data set in tool from month to month and support any queries that may arise in end of month reporting

  • Support the wider project stakeholder group when queries arise Supplier Portal data

  • Support the Project Controls, L4SPE, Asset Suite and Data Factory teams where there is an interface or other specific requirements from Supplier Portal

  • Represent function at various Steerco meetings for related workstreams

  • Ensure Supplier onboarding to Supplier Portal is managed in a sequence and priority aligned with the Project’s needs

  • Provide oversight, guidance, and input into the Supplier Portal supplier onboarding activity (business as usual plan)

  • Monitor data set in tool from month to month and support any queries that may arise in end of month reporting

Deliverables / Expected Output

  • Proactive follow up of any IET / Supplier Portal Issue or opportunity as requested by MEH or Line Manager

  • Publishing of numerous system generated reports across project, at an agreed frequency/distribution.

These will include:

  • Material availability

  • Material shortage

  • System use / governance

  • Monthly report for area

  • Anything requested ad hoc to support various supply chain issues

Knowledge, Skills, Qualifications & Experience

  • Some experience and background in Supply Chain systems.

  • Requirement of large infrastructure projects

  • Demonstrable track record of collaborative working within successful project teams

  • Preferable College/University education degree, or suitable experience
