Purpose of the Job:

This role requires specialized skills gained through a blend of vocational training and significant on-the-job experience, often at a master level within skilled trades. A trade certification is typically necessary at this job level.

• First POC for tech support for a growing inspection team

• Final inspection in manufacturing • NCR, Root cause and C/A lead • Working closely with ME, PE, Ops and QE • Calibration support • Data mining • Project focal eg. Scanning inspection docs • Discuss and Netinspect POC and support. • Holiday and support cover for all areas of inspection.

Required Experience:

  • Industry Background: Strong experience in quality and/or aerospace within medium to high-volume manufacturing.

  • Leadership

  • Technical Proficiency: Skilled in using handheld measuring tools (Verniers, Height Gauge, Micrometers) and interpreting engineering drawings, including geometrical tolerances.

  • Continuous Improvement: Familiarity with Continuous Improvement and 5S methodologies.

  • Engineering Literacy: Ability to read, understand, and interpret engineering information.

  • Communication Skills: Effective communicator at all levels, both verbal and written.

  • Teamwork & Initiative: Ability to work independently and collaboratively with the team

  • IT Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access).
