Amentum Painter Automotive in Lemoore, California

Amentum is currently seeking an Automotive Painter for our Lemoore, CA location.

The Painter, Automotive coats surfaces of motor vehicles such as automobiles, buses, and trucks with paint, lacquer, epoxy, resin or other material, using brushes, rollers, spray guns and other devices, removes old paint from vehicles, using liquid paint remover and scraper, smoothes surfaces with sandpaper and steel wool. The Painter, Automotive roughens aluminum surfaces with acid solution and steel wool to ensure that paint adheres to surfaces, masks and covers portions of surfaces not to be painted, paints vehicles or specified portions of vehicles and may paints insignia, letters or numerals on vehicle surfaces using stencils.

In addition, the Automotive Painter removes, disassembles, cleans, treats for corrosion, assembles, and reinstalls GSE components and accessories, and stencils, marks, and operates GSE in accordance with technical publications. The Automotive Painter stores, handles, labels, uses, and disposes of hazardous materials and waste in accordance with all state, local, and federal environmental standards and regulations and practices good housekeeping, tool control, Foreign Object Damage prevention and safety at all times.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.

  • Must be available for any shift.

  • Willing to work weekends and other hours as needed.

  • Must have a valid Driver's License.

  • Must be able to speak, read, write and understand English

Compensation & Benefits:

Hiring Hourly Rate: $23.25
