Requirements
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Lead, motivate, and support production team within a time-sensitive and demanding environment
Increase the efficiency of existing processes and procedures to enhance Dalton Ag’s internal capacity
Ensure operational activities remain on time and within budget
Organize and oversee the work and schedules of departmental supervisors
Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance protocols
Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage data collection for the updating of metrics to achieve productivity targets, reduce cost per unit, eliminate errors, and deliver excellent customer service
Computer skills with ability to navigate proprietary software. Experience with ERP systems preferred
Ensures organized, clean and injury free working environment
Diligence in good housekeeping processes within manufacturing areas as well as exterior building and grounds
Projects a positive image of the organization to employees, customers, industry, and community
Other Duties and Responsibilities:
Thorough understanding of practices, theories, and policies to achieve operational efficiency
Strong problem-solving skills
Superior verbal and written communication skills
Superior managerial and diplomacy skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, ERP system or related software
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Excellent analytical, decision-making, and critical thinking skills
Education/Experience:
High School Diploma required, Bachelor’s Degree preferred
3 years manufacturing experience
Work environment and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE):
Prolonged periods of sitting and working on a computer
Outside work required, ability to function in all elements of weather
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Safety glasses, safety shoes and hearing protection are required in all manufacturing areas
Other PPE as required
