- To support all Board and administrative policies of the school district at all times.
- To assist individual and small groups of students with understanding class assignments and homework.
- To provide corrective feedback and support to students in following classroom rules and expectations.
- To correct papers.
- To accompany students to classes as assigned.
- To complete behavior and medicaid documentation as assigned.
- To maintain proper classroom atmosphere, including the enforcing of classroom rules and taking necessary disciplinary action when necessary and using time-out procedures, as well as detention procedures.
- To help with reinforcement procedures, may it be through behavior modification programs made by the teacher or simply verbal praise.
- To assist in planning in any way he/she feels would be beneficial to the teacher or student.
- Assist with lunch, hall, and playground supervision as assigned.
