Job Description
Our organization is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician. Your primary duties will include maintaining equipment in production, locating and replacing defective components in a timely manner, and working with other Mechanics on complex repairs. You will be responsible for troubleshooting Motor Control Centers, relays, solenoids, and other complex electrical drives. You will also need to set up packaging equipment and ensure good manufacturing practices are followed on a daily basis. Additionally, you will handle SPA responsibilities for one of the EHS protocols, request parts for equipment repair, and teach, coach, and mentor line operators in the PM process.
Hard Skills
Strong mechanical skills
Basic understanding of electrical - HDMI's, fault codes, troubleshooting skills
Knowledge of Motor Control Centers, relays, solenoids, and other complex electrical drives
Ability to set up packaging equipment
Understanding of good manufacturing practices
Ability to handle SPA responsibilities for one of the EHS protocols
Ability to request parts for equipment repair
Soft Skills
Good communication skills
Teaching, coaching, and mentoring abilities

This is a permanent position.
Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in Carrollton, Texas.
Work Environment
This job is in a climate-controlled environment. You will often be working around equipment at 300 F +. You must be able to walk/stand all shift and climb stairs/ladder for up to 12 hours, work in high places, and lift to 50 lbs. The shift is 7:00 pm-7:00 am/Sunday-Tuesday and Saturday-Tuesday (36/48), with overtime offered but not mandated
