What does a successful Strategic Account Manager at Fiserv do?

As a Strategic Account Manager (SAM), you will responsible for ensuring outstanding customer service for the firm’s largest, most sophisticated Corporate clients, across all Fiserv assets and lines of business. As Fiserv’s primary day-to-day contact with these clients, the SAM plays a meaningful role in providing seamless, high-quality service and support, while thinking and acting strategically to help the Sales/Account Executives grow existing client relationships, achieve revenue growth goals and retain business.

What you will need to have:

  • Build and maintain excellent relationships with key personnel in assigned client accounts

  • Serve as primary day-to-day business point of contact for clients - maintain regular and ongoing contact with client payments team & other parties within clients’ payments ecosystems

  • Provide indirect (dotted line) leadership to internal resources who support the clients (AMs, IT, Implementations, product teams, etc); bring all service together seamlessly for clients

  • Partner to identify revenue-generating product or service opportunities, renewals, or new business opportunities.

  • Partner with Sales/Relationship Managers, as well as other account support representatives across Fiserv, to delivery quarterly business reviews.

  • Serve as Payments Industry specialist and consultant for clients; advise clients on best practices, provide recommendations for operational efficiencies, advise clients of regulatory and Card Brand mandates, and help them achieve compliance, recommend new products/services to help retain clients and grow their business.

  • Represents the voice of the client within the Fiserv organization to improve the client experience and advise future product strategy and pivotal initiatives.

  • Work with Solution Consultants, Technical Account Managers, Product, Implementations, and other internal stakeholders to meet partner needs.

  • Subject matter expert on client to all Fiserv business units.

  • Develop understanding of clients’ business including industry verticals, product offerings, go to market strategies etc.

What would be great to have:

  • Reporting and analytics experience .

  • Interchange analysis.

Salary Range

$102,100.00 - $182,400.00

These pay ranges apply to employees in Colorado, Hawaii, Maryland and Washington. Pay ranges for employees in other states may differ. Certain Positions are Commissions eligible.
