REPORTS TO: Assistant Principal

*SALARY RANGE: *
- $40,600 -- $60,100, + 2.25% stipend, based on appropriate salary schedule, commensurate with education and experience

WORK WEEK/YEAR: 183-day school year calendar

*MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: *
- Possess, or ability to obtain, valid Ohio certification/licensure in English/Language Arts (7-12)
- Positive role model for youth
- Dedicated to helping students develop high levels of academic competency
- Effective communication and collaborative skills
- Ability to pass BCI and FBI background checks
- Ability to work as a school improvement team member

*PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: *
- Excellent organizational and human relation skills
- Ability to plan and develop an instructional program in English/ Language Arts

*RESPONSIBILITIES: *
- Develop an English/Language Arts curriculum and teach high school youth
