Insight Global Secret Sr Linux System Administrator in Linthicum Heights, Maryland
Job Description
Insight Global is looking for a Sr. Linux Systems Administrator to support a large federal client in Linthicum, MD. This person will sit fully onsite to support an enterprise IT and infrastructure environment used by internal users. There will be 1 main program you will support with about 10 smaller programs under it. This individual will be expected to troubleshoot and monitor physical and virtual servers, follow and stay up to date with proper security compliance, provide server administration, backups, imaging, encryptions, and application support . The current environment is a mix between Linux, Windows, and network related issues. The ideal candidate will be mainly focused in Linux with knowledge in Windows. This person will be working independently and may act as a point of escalation at times. Salary ranges from $93,000-$145,000.

Skills and Requirements
· Bachelor's degree and 7+ years of experience
· Active Secret or Top Secret Security Clearance
· CompTIA SEC+ CE certification
· Ability to work independently troubleshooting and maintaining Linux/RHEL 6+ OS
· Heavy experience in following proper cyber and security compliance protocols
· Experience working in physical/on-prem environments
Experience independently performing imaging, backups, encryptions, and application support · RHEL/Linux certifications
· Experience with ansible and YUM (Yellowdog Updater Modified)
Experience leading a team of system admins null
