Syensqo is creating its internal Global Business Services (GBS) to cover Finance, Procurement and Human Resources activities. We offer you to work in a dynamic and collaborative environment and to contribute to this group’s transformation.

Join us in one of our 3 service centers: Lisbon, Curitiba, and Bangkok and be part of this transformation journey from the start.

We are currently looking for a highly skilled PMO Lead to be responsible to set-up and continuously manage the Program Management Office in GBS. Develops tools and practices to support project efforts. Additionally, he/she may support mentoring, training, and certification activities for project managers within its area of responsibility. He/She will guide and monitor the activities of projects or multiple related projects or programs; develop project plans, schedules, budgets and deliverables. In addition, he/she may be responsible for E2E managing a project / program to develop a process, product, technology, system, solutions, or services: from Initiation to Closure.

• PMO:

• Defines and applies project management methodology, best practices and standards

• Monitors the competing constraints of scope, schedule, budget, quality, resources and risk

• Provides a consultative role to projects and or programs by supplying templates, best

• practices, training, access to information and lessons learnt from other projects

• Provides project / program management with regular performance status, variances to plan

• and identification of areas for corrective actions

• Monitors compliance to project management standards, policies, procedures and templates

• Project Management:

• Apply standard E2E approach in the transformation projects, to ensure the plan realization

• Formulates the E2E Transformation project plan, in accordance with the goals and timing, set

• by management; specifies the manning of the project, resources required, anticipated costs,

• risk assessment and quality standards to be used.

• Controls the project budget and project progress, evaluates all project initiatives as to

• feasibility, costs/benefits and added value, takes corrective actions when necessary and

• generates adequate reporting.

• Leads the E2E Transformation project, within the project budget and program strategy, in

• terms of quality, money, time, information and organization, monitoring progress and

• managing external resources.

You will bring:

• Bachelor’s degree, Master’s degree.

• Proven experience of minimum of 10 years of progressive work experience in mid to large scale

• Project or program management experience

• PMP certified would be a plus

• Scrum Master certified would be a plus

• Technical expertise in areas within GBS preferred

• Excellent PMO and project management skills

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities

• Experience working with cross-functional teams and external vendors

• Proficiency in project management tools and software (e.g., Microsoft, Google)

• Ability to connect people and connect with people

• Good communication

• Proactive with a high level of initiative and autonomy in the day to day organization

• Jira tool knowledge is a plus

• Fluent in English (both written & spoken)
