Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic
Job Description
We are looking for maintenance mechanics for overnight 12-hour shifts to maintain and repair production lines, and maintain the overall building.
Responsibilities
Complete daily jobs and work orders
Work collaboratively with maintenance staff on work practices and procedures
Perform maintenance and repairs on equipment, troubleshoot, maintain and install mechanical and electrical systems
Prepare for and acquire necessary parts for tasks
Communicate with departments, vendors, subs, and management about any issues affecting production efficiency
Document all repairs and complete paperwork
Identify and implement process improvement opportunities

2 years of technical training related to automated packaging machinery systems OR

Work Environment
This role is based in a milk plant, which is a food manufacturing environment with very high food quality regulations. The workplace is very sanitary, and all production staff are required to wear hairnets and gowns. The mechanics are split into two shifts at night: Shift A works every Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and every other Saturday; Shift B works every Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and every other Saturday, providing a balanced 3-days and 4-days week schedule.
