Job Duties and Responsibilities

The Head of Marketing Operations and Investment Strategy will develop and lead our capabilities around marketing strategy and measurement. This critical role will drive marketing investment strategy and project and vendor management.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive marketing investment strategies to achieve business objectives.

  • Oversee and allocate the annual marketing budget across activities, campaigns, and channels.

  • Recommend profit-optimal marketing spend mix and govern daily spend decisions.

  • Develop forecasting models for marketing spend and performance, and generate regular KPI reports.

  • Project manage cross-functional marketing initiatives from ideation to launch.

  • Support all Retail Wireless brands, ensuring alignment between marketing and sales on commercial goals.

Skills, Experience and Requirements

As a successful Head of Marketing Operations and Investment Strategy, you will have:

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, finance, accounting, or related field; MBA or Master’s degree preferred

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in finance or accounting and project management

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing investment strategies

  • Understanding of business financial and accounting concepts (accruals, GAAP principles, etc.)

  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders

  • Proven ability to build, develop and lead a top-performing team

  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets and proficiency with financial tools (e.g., Orbit, Oracle), and knowledge of data science and statistical modeling techniques preferred

Salary Ranges

Compensation: $127,050.00/Year - $181,500.00/Year

The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location. Candidates need to successfully complete a pre-employment screen, which may include a drug test and DMV check.
