ZF Active Safety US Inc. has a job opening for the position of Global OPV Manager, Brake Controls based out of its location in Livonia, MI.

Job Duties: Lead OPV (Operational Performance Variance) for the global Brake Controls business unit (incl. 8 manufacturing sites), including managing/monitoring global financial metrics variations, forecasts and budgets; Act as liaison between business unit, operations team, and site controllers, including direct interactions with plant finance & operations teams for best understanding/analysis of OPV matters & metrics; Support monthly reporting and presentations of key OPV explanations, including Operations Review presentations, forecasts, and budgets, and provide clarity/details to the business unit regarding OPV matters; Drive the Target Operating Model (TOM) process and validation with manufacturing sites; Manage business unit by region (centrally manage direct labor, overheads and depreciation); Track operational savings or measures; Implement improvements to systems, test, then roll out to and train controllers; Support plant manager if/when controller is missing; and Provide ad-hoc analysis support to plants, as needed. A hybrid (in-office and telecommute) work schedule is available.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or closely related field, plus 8 years of experience in accountant, controller, or related occupations, and demonstrated experience with: Accounting and/or controlling in a global manufacturing organization; Testing of finance systems and processes; Implementation and roll-out of finance systems and processes; and Performing complex analysis of Operational Performance Variance (OPV), including OPV for controllable factory costs in relation to factory output.
