Estee Lauder Companies are looking for a talented Creative Operations Lead to join their in-house creative studio, ELC Studios for a 6-month fixed term contract. Based in London, ELC Studios operate across the full portfolio of ELC brands in the UK market.

This role will lead the Creative Operations team in executing the strategic plan, by refining the operating model, establishing priorities and determining resource allocation for efficient and effective delivery of all projects.

This role is a leadership position within our department, requiring positive team culture contributions including mentoring, supporting, and motivating and management of internal stakeholder as well as external communications.

The role oversees Operations Managers, Resource Managers and Producers.

Core responsibilities

● Working closely with the Studio Director to set strategy, manage resources and establish processes/ workflows in order to produce and deliver quality work

● Works with the Brands and stakeholders to understand business drivers and prioritizes delivery to maximize business benefit

● Effectively managing change throughout the project lifecycle – monitoring, assessing and implementing the agreed change control process where required

● Manage and communicate all potential risks, mitigate potential issues

● Drive the brand and studio budget management process

● Drive demand planning and forecasting to manage growth

● Develop strong relationships with both the brand and the studio team, ensuring that potential opportunities are identified and shared

● Creative approach to problem-solving with the ability to focus on details while maintaining a “big picture” view

● Responsible for understanding business targets and effectively managing costs, achieving against specific targets

● Develops the Creative Operations team through relevant training and line management ensuring strong performance, clear personal development and good succession planning

Qualifications

WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO BE SUCCESFUL IN THIS ROLE:

● 8 years’ experience in delivering / producing creative production briefs at global campaign level

● Experience of working in a Creative Agency or In-house Studio environment running Creative Operations

● Management/Supervisory experience

● Proficient in Project management tools such as Wrike as well as Adobe Suite

● Demonstrate a sound commercial understanding

● Demonstrate confidence in communicating with people at all levels

● Excellent organisational skills including time management, planning, hitting deadlines, objective setting

● Ability to oversee the creation of all project plans, defining priorities and setting realistic milestones and deadlines

● Ability to co-ordinate, schedule and control the teams’ resources

● Ability to estimate and manage a project budget using standard charging models

● Able to explain technical solutions at a level appropriate to brands and colleagues

● Ability to understand technical and creative aspects of a brief

● Excellent negotiation and problem-solving skill
