Responsibilities

NetSuite Customer Success provides comprehensive instructional programs to ensure our customers, partners, and employees have the knowledge to achieve the highest level of success. In our Enablement practice, we are adding diversity and depth to our offerings, improving our reach through packages that are targeted to customer size and type, and doing more for our customers in terms of the materials that we provide for initial and ongoing enablement.

The Subscriptions Solution Principal plays a critical role in achieving this objective by:

  • Acquiring and maintaining a working knowledge of the complete offerings and capabilities of NetSuite Services, specifically Education Services

  • Assisting Sales teams to provide innovative training and support solutions to prospects and customers

  • Enabling Sales and Customer Success teams to understand the NetSuite Subscription and Education Services offerings and selling strategy

  • Working with all Direct Sales groups to promote the value of enablement to new prospects, becoming part of the Sales Team to scope and close deals

  • Working with PS Sales and Solutioning teams to scope managed services and training engagements for new customers

  • Positioning and selling Advanced Customer Support, Learning services, Tailored Training, and User Adoption services with new prospects and Install-base customers

  • Creating change orders as necessary for in-flight projects to ensure a tailored training fit

  • Teaming with Sales Enablement to ensure that all new sales reps understand the value of Education Services, the overall content of the Training courses and products, and how to position Education Services with their target audiences

What you’ll do

  • Partner with, enable and support AMO and Direct CS consulting sales teams in scoping opportunities for education and user adoption services for all types of customers and partners, including execution of change orders and upsell SOWs for active engagements

  • Collaborate with other regional Education Services Advisors to support global sales teams

  • Coordinate authoring and updating of SOWs and other contract templates to meet the needs of the business

  • Use marketing tools (newsletters, twitter, phone, and other communication tools) to advertise the programs and increase awareness and drive sales and attendance

  • Learn and use NetSuite PS tools (Pricing Calculator, SOW and CO templates) to create contract documents to support deals

  • Learn the Education Services and User Adoption Value propositions and deliver them to various audiences (internal, external)

  • Use NetSuite to track and report on your activities; performance will be measured on sales bookings, as well as interactions and activities (PSER reporting)

  • Keep NetSuite product knowledge current, keeping up to date with new features as versions are released

  • Display a deep understanding of the Education Services offerings, and ability to evaluate a customer’s needs and translate into a training solution

  • Work with all the respective internal groups within NetSuite e.g. Professional Services, Direct Sales etc., to educate and evangelize our value proposition and offerings

  • Liaison to RFP desk to answer questions about training for proposals and assist in maintaining the database of Education Services topics

  • Assist with proposal development, positioning of services and the sales process for more complex deals

  • Architect custom learning blends of onsite and online training, education consulting, user adoption services, and performance support solutions

  • Partner with Sales and PS Enablement on new and emerging market launches for Education Services offerings

  • Deliver sales enablement training for Direct, AMO, and Channel Sales on Education Services Programs

Qualifications and Skills needed:

  • Services Sales or presales experience and proven ability to continually achieve and exceed assigned goals

  • Strong sales, product management and/or marketing skills: needs analysis, positioning, business justification and closing

  • Exceptional skills designing, managing, and presenting services solutions, ideally with focus on enablement

  • Strong communication, enablement, presentation, and interpersonal skills

  • Professionalism, strong work ethic, flexibility, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

  • Understanding of common industry standards as related to ERP, Accounting and CRM

  • Ability to drive value with the customer by upselling services

  • Excellent written and verbal English skills for the purpose of contract and documentation development

  • Experience with cloud software implementations

  • Fluency in European languages (French, Spanish, Swedish, Dutch) is a plus

  • Bachelor’s degree or recognized equivalency or achievement of recognized professional level
