The Role:

• Identify new accounts in the Life Sciences sector (CRO’s, CDMO’s, Consultancies, Technology etc.) to sell Marketing Services products

• Grow existing relationships within the Citeline Marketing Services Portfolio

• Apply a consultative approach to identifying customers’ needs and marketing objectives by asking targeted open-ended questions to understand a customer’s challenges

• Work with clients to build bespoke marketing services campaigns including custom content, research and thought leadership programs

• Work closely with the existing sales teams to complement and grow the business with new revenue streams

• Responsible for managing campaigns in collaboration with delivery colleagues from start to finish and documenting results for post campaign debriefs and renewals

• Assist the production team to ensure advertising campaigns go live on the site without a hitch, are successfully optimized, and perform to client standards

• Delivery of performance reports to clients and benchmarking those results against similar campaigns

• Maintaining a knowledge of the industry in which you work and an awareness of factors that may affect your business

• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• 6 years of previous sales experience

• Prior experience utilizing a consultative sales approach is crucial in this role

• Prior experience or familiarity with selling content marketing

• Must understand integrated B2B marketing campaigns

• Familiar with the Life Sciences industry and the clinical trial landscape

• Working knowledge of developing new revenue streams through creative digital solutions and events

• You understand selling the benefits of marketing to a subscription audience

• You have a working knowledge of marketing and understand their functionalities

• Familiar with selling and managing B2B advertising accounts

• Proven track record of developing a book of business and applying key account management tactics

It is not typical for offers to be made at or near the top of the range. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. In addition to base salary and a competitive benefits package, successful candidates are eligible to receive a discretionary bonus.
