This role can be based in any of the AWS UK locations: London, Manchester, Cambridge, Bristol or Edinburgh, with ability to travel to AWS, Partner and Customer offices on a regular basis

AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector. The AWS Global Support team interacts with leading companies and believes that world-class support is critical to customer success. AWS Support also partners with a global list of customers that are building mission-critical applications on top of AWS services.

Would you like to be part of a team focused on increasing adoption of Amazon Web Service (AWS) in the UK Healthcare market, working closely with strategic partners to drive healthcare transformation using cloud technology?

As a Partner Sales Manager, you will have the exciting opportunity to deliver on our strategy to build mind share of Amazon Web Services and grow adoption of cloud-based solutions within our UK Healthcare sector. In the role, you will establish and maintain sales and alliance relationships with strategic Consulting and Technology partners that include Systems Integrators (SIs), Resellers, Independent Software Vendor (ISVs), and Managed Solutions Providers (MSPs) to drive AWS services revenue and acquire new customers. By establishing, growing business and managing the day-to-day interactions with Healthcare focused partners, you will work with an experienced team of Account Managers, Partner Managers, Solution Architects and Program teams to innovate with Partners for our Healthcare customers.

You have a strong background in Healthcare as well as experience of working with transformative technology including cloud, IoT, AI/ML, business intelligence, analytics. You are experienced at influencing innovation with partners and with the presence to engage executive decision makers. You have strong business development, product management, strategic alliances, and entrepreneurial skills. You can demonstrate an ability to think strategically about new business models, solution selling, and show prior solution and program successes.

Key job responsibilities

Your responsibilities will include establishing and growing C-level relationships within partners and customers. You will innovate with partners to build successful, sustainable and repeatable solutions that align to Healthcare use cases and that solve important customer challenges that impact patient outcomes. You will do this by building and owning Healthcare go-to market plans and activities with partners that drives market adoption and revenue growth to partners and AWS. You will be partner-centric in all activities, serving as a leader and advocate for partners within AWS, and accurately representing AWS within the partner's organisation.

Additional responsibilities include;

• Collaborate with Sales, Partners, Program teams internally and externally to identify, manage and close Healthcare Sector pipeline

• Collaborate across AWS to provide support at the right time to partners. Build regular cadence with key stakeholders within partners.

• Build regular cadence that provides business updates to stakeholders within AWS and partners regarding progress, initiatives, opportunities and areas of focus.

Basic Qualifications

• Substantial healthcare experience (10+ years)

• Experience in partner management, sales or business development in the IT industry (5+ years)

• Experience developing and executing ambitious Go to Market plans through partners/channels

• Operating skills (forecasting, pipeline management, account planning, business cadence)

• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex concepts to cross functional teams internally and externally

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with transformative technology including cloud, IoT, AI/ML, business intelligence, analytics

• Strong understanding of AWS Cloud services and Digital transformation

• Understanding of UK Healthcare Data Compliance and standards

• Understanding of UK Public Sector procurement frameworks

• Degree or equivalent experience
