The Junior Treasury Project Manager will support project initiatives across Treasury.

Assist in strategic and tactical initiatives and deliverables, co-ordinating across the team and wider group in planning and executing against all aspects of projects relating to both Treasury Analytics and Treasury Operations.

This includes, but not limited to providing assistance in operational assessment, bank account management, business analysis, design, build, testing against requirements and implementation activities. Identify risks and control issues and opportunities throughout the deliverable.

Responsibilities:

• Lead Marex bank account management, onboarding, offboarding, and SWIFT integration

• Support key deliverables/streams on large Treasury transformation projects in Treasury's strategic roadmap including; global TMS implementation across EMEA, AMER & APAC, FTP reform & liquidity risk management enhancement

• Provide support for annual audits of treasury processes

• Co-ordinate across Treasury, Finance, Operations, Risk, Technology and Front Office teams to define, scope and implement technology, process or control initiatives across the Group

• Support acquisitions and integrations into Treasury infrastructure and Standard Operating Procedures (SoP).

• Support with planning and delivery on key processes, system improvements, and data optimisation and driving efficiencies across the Treasury Operations and Analytics teams.

• Assist department heads and Senior Treasury Project Managers to formulate and execute against short, medium, and long-term strategic road maps.

• Assist with front-to-back assessment of daily BAU tasks, identifying existing key risks and controls.

• Assist with the documentation of new procedures and ongoing updating of existing procedures.

• Ensuring compliance with the company's authorisation.

• Adhere to the operational risk framework for your role ensuring that all regulatory or company determined parameters are complied with.

• Role model for demonstrating highest level standards of integrity and conduct and reflecting Company Values.

• At all times complying with the FCA's Code of Conduct

Skills and Experience:

Required:

• Experience in banking operations, maintenance, onboarding/offboarding and SWIFT

• Experienced in transformation projects/ programmes where you are implementing systems and improving processes through process re-engineering

• Experienced in data analysis, data manipulation and reporting

• Proactive and innovative with outstanding analytic skills and the capability to drive initiatives to resolution

• Self-motivated, confident, and resilient – able to perform under pressure

• Excellent communication and co-ordination skills, ability to work with and communicate to senior management

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Minimum 2 years' post-university work-experience in the finance sector

Desired:

• Experience with Power BI (or other BI tools like Tableau) and proficient with Microsoft Office

• Qualified/Part qualified ACCA/CIMA/ACA/CFA/ACT/CAIA

• Project Management/Change Management/Business Process Mapping Qualification
