Job Title: Veterinary Receptionist
Salary: £24,985 per annum
Location: Forest Vets, Isle of Dogs
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Hours: 40 Hours per week
Shifts: 8-hour shifts across 5 days.
The shifts will be worked on a rota basis between the hours of 8.45 and 19.30.1 in 3 Saturday mornings (9:00-12:00).

You'll be part of a small, friendly, and supportive team where your role as a Receptionist is crucial to providing excellent client care.
The work is physical and demanding, but also incredibly interesting and varied.
We're looking for someone who can remain calm under pressure, show empathy, multitask, and is passionate about delivering top-notch customer care.
Your role and responsibilities
Welcoming clients and their pets upon arrival
Answering the phone in a polite and friendly manner, dealing with any enquiries and booking appropriate appointments, using our in-house system.
Managing the diaries effectively and ensure the smooth running of vets and nurses consults.
Helping to assist with administrative duties including answering email enquiries and online booking requests.
Taking payments over the phone.
Transferring calls to the appropriate person.
Have a clear speaking voice and be empathetic and sensitive at certain situations.
Required Skills and Experience
Experience in a Reception or customer service role
Good IT skills
Excellent telephone and face-to-face communication skills
The ability to stay focused under pressure and to multitask
Flexibility to work on a rota basis
Previous veterinary knowledge (Desirable)
