About the role

In order to help Cochlear continue to grow and service our customers, we are recruiting for a Contracts and Compliance Administrator in our Americas head office based in Lone Tree, CO.

To be successful in this role you will need to be able to work closely with a wide variety of stakeholders to ensure the appropriate administration of Cochlear's commercial contracts and compliance obligations. You will work collaboratively with Cochlear's sales, operations, marketing, finance and IT stakeholders to support a highly visible legal team and the broader business operating in the US and Canada. This role is responsible for ensuring that commercial contracts are negotiated and managed in line with company policies, while administering company reporting obligations pursuant to applica

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with applicable organization and external stakeholders to understand commercial contracting needs and objectives relative to the sale of Cochlear products to hospitals, surgical centers, healthcare practices, healthcare systems and group purchasing organizations and provide support relating to Cochlear Americas' U.S. and Canadian business units
  • Negotiate, draft and revise commercial agreements, distribution agreements, vendor agreements, non-disclosure agreements, consultant agreements, and other standard commercial agreements individually while supported by others on the legal team
  • Reconcile RFPs issued by health systems and group purchasing organizations, compile program requirements, proposal submittals and resultant agreement
  • Ensure that all commercial contracts are negotiated in compliance with company objectives, company policies, and all state and federal laws
  • Provide second level review of post-reporting activities required under federal and state laws, including but not limited to obligations stemming from the Physician Payments Sunshine Act and similar state laws, individually while supported by others on the legal team
  • Ensure that all data are reported in compliance with company objectives, company policies, and state and federal laws
  • Review and revise commercial content, including but not limited to web-based, email-initiated and print collateral, to conform with applicable company objectives, company policies, and state and federal laws, individually while supported by others on the legal team

Key Requirements

To add value to Cochlear in this role you'll be able to meet and demonstrate the following knowledge, skills and abilities in your application and at interview:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 3-5 years of experience with corporate commercial contracts
  • Proven negotiation skills with ability to define strategies and lead negotiations

Salary and Benefits

In addition to the opportunity to develop your knowledge and grow professionally, we offer competitive wages and benefits.

  • Target Salary Range: 86,000 - 92,000 per year base salary, based upon experience, as well as an annual bonus opportunity of 7.5% of base salary. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
