Charles Schwab & Company, Inc. is hiring a(n) Sr Specialist, Software Development and Engineering (ref. Code 2024-99881 in Lone Tree, CO.
Duties: Research, design, and develop computer and network software or specialized utility programs; evaluate and design scalable and maintainable test automation systems using an existing automation framework, augmenting and restructuring the framework as needed; engage in planning sessions to evaluates complex user requests, projects, objectives, functional and business requirements; work collaboratively with Development team, QA team and Architect in designing and building a robust, reliable and maintainable test suites; advocate for TDD philosophies and strive to achieve efficiencies in testing, implementation and certification strategies; coordinate and participate in comprehensive E2E testing, including functional, integration, performance and security testing activities across multiple functional areas within and across multiple functional teams; collaborate with engineers across ASDD in researching test tools, methodologies, and trends and upgrading existing practices and processes; work closely with DEV and QA Leads in Designing and developing CI/CD Pipelines
