Drug Enforcement Administration MANAGEMENT AND PROGRAM ANALYST in Lorton, Virginia

Summary This position is located in the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), Operations Support Division, Office of Investigative Technology (ST). This position(s) primary purpose is to support higher leadership in providing program oversight and expertise in the administrative development, management, implementation and evaluation of the section's programs/projects. As a MANAGEMENT AND PROGRAM ANALYST your typical work assignments may include: Serving as an expert in the management of administrative tasks, responsibilities, and reporting that underlie program operations. Skilled in developing documents and information that convey the status of business or program operations within an organization. Proficient in developing reports, briefing documents, and action plans that convey the status of programs or projects. to managers and leaders throughout the organizations. Managing financial resources, agreements, and requirements to manage and represent management in formal discussions with external vendors to source technologies, resources, or support. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Applicants must meet the AND Specialized Experience requirements as noted below. Qualification claims will be subject to verification. GS-12: You must demonstrate in your resume at least one (1) year of qualifying specialized experience equivalent to a GS-11. Specialized experience is defined as: 1) Assisting with project coordination's; 2) Reporting on the status of projects; 3) Representing management in formal discussions with external vendors to source technology resources; 4) Utilizing software and applications to visualize data and present reports. GS-13: You must demonstrate in your resume at least one (1) year of qualifying specialized experience equivalent to a GS-12. Specialized experience is defined as: 1) Leading projects with focus on financial management/systems; 2) Reporting project statuses or programs; 3) Representing management in formal discussions with external vendors to source technology resources; 4) Applying business analysis such as critical path analysis, cost benefits analysis, risks analysis, buy/make analysis in support of projects. You must demonstrate in your resume at least one (1) year of qualifying specialized experience equivalent , Specialized experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
