Robert Half Junior Benefits Analyst in Los Angeles, California

Description

We are looking for a Benefits Analysis Coordinator position, based in the mid-Wilshire area. In this role, you will join our team to support data analysis initiatives and contribute to maintaining and updating our Benefits Analysis policies and procedures. Once full time, you can work a 9/80 schedule, having every other Friday/Monday off.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the Benefits Analysis team in preparing and performing data analysis on pension benefits, health plan eligibility and claims, contributions, and audit.

• Collaborate and assist analysts in departmental projects and reports.

• Coordinate with the department analysts and manager to maintain the Benefits Analysis policies and procedures manual, project inventory, and ensure procedures are up to date.

• Prepare materials and reports as instructed from the department manager.

• Assist in the preparation of the data requested from the consultants, vendors, and internal users.

• Participate in planning and completion of overall departmental projects and assist with implementation of department initiatives.

• Work independently and ensure assigned weekly and monthly projects are completed accurately and timely.

• Prioritize and assist with multiple ongoing projects simultaneously.

• Accept direction and developmental guidance from the department manager.

• Work effectively with individuals at all levels in the organization.

• Contribute to cross-functional projects both within the Benefits Analysis team and organizationally with other team members, as needed.

• Ensure regular, predictable, and reliable attendance.

• Perform other duties as assigned, including ad-hoc requests as necessary.

Requirements • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Microsoft Outlook

• Proven experience in answering inbound and outbound calls

• Exceptional customer service skills

• Ability to handle data entry tasks efficiently

• Experience in email correspondence

• Ability to schedule appointments effectively

• Demonstrated ability to multitask and prioritize work

• Excellent organizational and time-management skills

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills

• High level of discretion and judgment

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
