    Position description

The UCLA Music Department invites applications for a part-time lecturer position in Trumpet for the 2024-25 academic year. Salary commensurate with applicant qualifications and experience; percentage of appointment commensurate with studio size.

Responsibilities may include the following: individual instruction and recital preparation of graduate and undergraduate trumpet students, teaching trumpet studio class and/or coaching chamber music ensembles, and participation in departmental auditions and juries.

Applicants should have an established regional, national, and/or international reputation as a performer and teacher with expertise and experience in broad repertoires. A post-baccalaureate degree is preferred.

The application deadline is August 1, 2024 with an anticipated hire date of October 1, 2024.
