Actalent Embedded Software Engineer in Louisville, Colorado

Are you interested in working on multiple devices that will someday make an impact on the world of Aerospace? A leading company dedicated to End-to-End Mission solutions is looking for a Lead Embedded Software Engineer to help with their up and coming projects and join their growing team. Their office is based out of Louisville, Colorado.

Description:

An Embedded Software Engineer is needed to join the growing team of a medical device manufacturing company. There are a variety of projects, primarily working with C++. Projects also include work with bare metal development, SPI devices, motor controllers, and electromechanical medical devices. Parts of the week will also be devoted to process documentation, design, and risk analysis, as well as hands’ on time in development and testing. Flexible work environment open to new ways of testing and improvising. Not an environment that is strictly process- driven. Opportunity to work in a multi-functional team with other software developers, hardware and mechanical engineers.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • 5+ years professional software experience

  • Strong knowledge of C++ / Python

  • Experience in embedded/firmware development

  • Experience with either bare metal development, embedded Linux , kernel, or RTOS development

  • Ability to read schematics

  • Comfortable working in a multi-functioning team
