This position is responsible for implementing processes for compliance with product-related laws, regulations, codes, and standards, including U.S. federal and state and Canadian requirements. Examples include:
Coordinate cross functional work to collect and report to federal and state agencies information related to GE Appliances use of chemicals in its products.
Implement PFAS-reporting compliance processes for CA, CO, MN, ME and other states as additional such laws are enacted.
Communicate with third parties, including in other countries, regarding product data and disclosures
Based on requirements determined by Producer Responsibility Organizations (PROs) under state Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) laws, implement process for reporting as required by PROs
Support the operational needs of the business-wide Regulatory Council
Analyze existing and proposed regulations to determine impact on the business
Perform other duties as assigned to support GE Appliances in complying with regulatory requirements

How You'll Create Possibilities
Minimum Qualifications:
Experience with implementing procedures and processes
Bachelor's degree in Analytics, Finance, Statistics, Business or other quantitative field, or equivalent experience and minimum of 1 year prior relevant experience
Demonstrated compliance mindset
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access, Outlook)
What You'll Bring to Our Team
Preferred Qualifications:
Proven capability to gather, manage and synthesize large amounts of information efficiently, effectively and creatively with incredible attention to detail
Familiarity with chemistry, chemical engineering, and/or product engineering
Regulatory compliance experience a plus
Supply Chain/Logistics Experience a plus
Demonstrated ability to facilitate multiple/large projects; provide direction and leadership to a network of resources
Demonstrated ability to use knowledge, experience and instinct to make accurate and timely decisions.
Demonstrated ability to implement simple, fast and non-bureaucratic process improvements
Working knowledge of Oracle, Tableau a plus
Fluency in both written and spoken Mandarin is a plus
Working Conditions
Working conditions are normal for an office environment.
Work may require occasional weekend and/or evening work.
10% travel required for domestic and/or international travel to GEA sites, training, etc.
