Minimum Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Instructional/Educational Technology or a related field and four (4) years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Grade 7 (Salaried)Position Description:The Delphi Center for Teaching and Learning is seeking an Instructional Design and Technology Specialist III. The primary functions of this position are related to instructional technology support and training. This individual will; provide training and support on instructional technologies including one-on-one and small group consultation with faculty regarding technology tools, learning theory, best practices for teaching, and online/blended course development. They will create instructional course materials and assist faculty members in selecting and implementing pedagogical strategies to enhance teaching and learning in face to face, blended and online courses. This includes incorporating text, graphics, video, and animation into educational and training products, utilizing best practices in instructional design theory and accessibility. Collaborate with colleagues within the Delphi Center and colleagues across schools and colleges to infuse “best practices” of instructional design and technology into new and existing programs and initiatives. Analyze and evaluate new technologies for potential application in instruction. They will develop new skills that will advance their instructional technology skills as well as develop, share, and apply knowledge and scholarship related to instructional design and online teaching. The position requires a highly motivated and collaborative individual who is able to communicate effectively, build relationships, and who possesses strong organizational, analytic, and writing abilities.
