Stock Yards Bank & Trust Loan Quality Assurance Manager in Louisville, Kentucky

As a Loan Quality Assurance Manager, your day will be filled with opportunities to monitor and review General Ledger entries, Doc Prep and Servicing procedures as it relates to established SOX controls, regulatory and Mortgage Servicing compliance and guidance.ResponsibilitiesDaily responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:Supervise and Review of Files pre-closing for completeness and accuracy to mitigate potential risk and exposure.Supervise, review and validate the policies and procedures that adhere to loan policy and regulatory requirements.Submit written reports of reviews, including findings and recommended actionsSupervise, review and recommend improvements in procedures and controls for the Lending process.Review and test the design and operating effectiveness of internal controls over loan documentation and processing.Review software and system product defaults to ensure they support regulatory and compliance controls that are available for consumer verification of mortgages, consumer insurance claims, requests for re-amortization and removal of PMI and/or escrow.Conduct special projects/audits when necessary as directed by the Assistant Director of Operations.Provide assistance to internal and external auditors and state/federal regulators during their examination of the bankJob RequirementsThe successful candidate will have the following qualifications:High School/GED education, some college preferredBank or financial service loan operations and compliance experience preferredKnowledge of bank policies, procedures and federal regulations is helpfulAbility to read, analyze and interpret policies, procedures, and banking government regulations.Ability to respond to inquiries from internal audit, regulatory agencies and outside consultants.Strong verbal and written communication skillsAbility to tactfully communicate with and gain respect of all employeesInvolved in hiring and firing decisions, provide daily supervision and performance feedbackBenefits401(k) with a company match of up to 6%ESOP employer matchMedical insuranceDental insuranceVision insuranceCancer / Disease insuranceAccident insuranceFlexible Spending AccountsHealth Savings AccountsBank paid Life / AD& D insuranceVoluntary Life / AD&D insuranceBank paid Short-Term and Long-Term Disability insuranceEmployee Stock Purchase PlanEmployee Assistance ProgramPhysical RequirementsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee in order to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
