TEKsystems Security Technician in Louisville, Kentucky
Job Description:
As a Security Technician / Installer, you will be responsible for the design, installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of security systems.
This includes but is not limited to alarm systems, CCTV, access control systems, and other security-related devices.
Responsibilities:
Installation : Install various types of security systems including alarm systems, CCTV, and access control systems.
Maintenance : Perform routine checks and maintenance to ensure that all security systems are functioning properly.
Troubleshooting : Diagnose and repair faults in security systems.
Customer Service : Provide excellent customer service, explaining complex security systems in an understandable manner to clients.
Documentation : Maintain accurate records of all installations, inspections, maintenance, and repair work.
Compliance : Ensure all work complies with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
12+ months of experience in security system installation and maintenance.
Knowledge of Access Control, CCTV, Burglar / Intercom Systems and Audio/Video.
Strong problem-solving skills.
Excellent customer service skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team.
Valid driver’s license.
Fire Alarm experience/knowledge is a nice to have.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift heavy equipment.
Comfortable working at heights.
Good manual dexterity.
