Humana Inc. seeks a Senior Cloud Services Engineer in Louisville, KY.Duties: Utilize software that manages and monitors networks, systems, and applications to guarantee performance to cloud software environments and to better orchestrate and automate provisioning of resources. Promote infrastructure automation, flexible collaboration, and communication between development, security, compliance, testing, monitoring, and production teams. Optimize the release process by leading teams to identify gaps and eliminate barriers to enable increased frequency of accurate code deployment. Begin to influence department’s strategy. Make decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding technical approach for project components, and work is performed without direction. Partner with application teams to provide overall infrastructure guidance & assistance. Identify opportunities to enhance current application automation processes. Identify new infrastructure automation opportunities. Act as a Technology bridge between the App team and the different on-boarding teams to assist in App’s migration journey to Azure 3.0 cloud environment. Influence the Domain Leaders and SMEs to deliver results. Mentor and instruct work for technical staff to continually improve an application’s onboarding efforts to Cloud 3.0. Effectively communicate project status and timelines to leadership. 100% telecommuting permitted within the US.This position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering ,or a related field plus 5 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or in related roles. In lieu of a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related field plus 5 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or in related roles, the employer will accept a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field plus 3 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or in related roles.This position requires at least 3 years of experience with:• Advanced experience leading infrastructure support, operations, automation and producing metrics, measurements and trend reports;• Cloud platform infrastructure and architecture, such as Azure, GCP, or AWS, and IaC, such as Terraform or CloudFormation.At least 2 years of experience with:• Infrastructure and application monitoring, event management, triaging and operational automation;And at least 1 year of experience with:• Migration orchestration between different technology providers during an application migration journey.Pre-employment background check and drug screening required.Employer will accept any suitable combination of education, training, and/or experience.40 hours/week.
