The Senior Business Analyst is responsible for providing business operation analysis and reporting to stakeholders utilizing integrated digital solutions, including Power BI, Salesforce, Excel, and Oracle. Using integrated digital solutions, the Senior Business Analyst will develop visual and analytical tools and reports that drive sound decision-making and allow functional managers to act on trends. Providing clear views of data and performance through dashboards, scorecards, and forecasts that seek to improve commercial growth and efficiency will be a large part of this role. The role acts as a consultant for the organization by leveraging business operation knowledge, identifying trends/KPIs, and recommending appropriate metrics and targets.

This position is part of the Commercial Analytics Department for North America located in Loveland Colorado and will be on-site 3 days a week and 2 days home office.

In this role, a typical day will look like:

  • Analyze data for trends, variance, and areas of improvement based on established analytical methodology; apply analytical reporting/business intelligence tools in designing reports, scorecards, and/or dashboards to provide relevant information to diagnose issues and opportunities for improvement

  • Prepare standard daily, weekly, and monthly commercial reporting, KPIs, and performance analysis that support a detailed understanding of business performance; generate insights into the causal effects on business performance through statistical/analytical methods.

  • Participate in complex problem solving, taking initial inputs from end users, and collecting, consolidating, and translating data into intended outcomes to answer the business objective/question.

  • Partner with commercial leaders and cross-functional departments to provide ad-hoc analytics for decision-making and business assessment.

  • Take on new projects with limited references and drive them through the initiation, data gathering, testing, user feedback, and validation phase.

  • Support annual commercial planning processes delivering meaningful analytics and insight development.

  • Makes recommendations to leaders and management regarding current or considered initiatives and participates in the definition of problems and strategies using analytical techniques

  • Build standardized analytics and data modeling for performance review.

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • 5+ years’ experience in a Data Analyst role

  • BS or BA in Business Administration, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or a related field

  • High proficiency in Excel skills including pivot tables and functions

  • Salesforce, Power-Bi, experience preferred

  • Forecast/Financial Modeling experience

The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An associate’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.

The compensation range for this role is $85000 - $93000 USD per year. This job is also eligible for Incentive Pay.
