Darling Inn Senior Meal Site, Inc.

Title: Dishwasher

Job Summary: Responsibilities for sanitization and general cleanliness of the kitchen, dining room, and bathrooms.

Reports to Manager.

Supervisory responsibilities: None

Qualifications: No experience necessary- will train. Ability and commitment to work as part of a team, positive attitude, confidentiality a must, physical ability to lift 50 pounds. References and background check required. Confidentiality a must!!

Performance Evaluation: Self-evaluation, and supervisory evaluation, 3 months, 6 months, and then annually.

Probationary period: 1 Month

Areas of responsibility:

Participate in creating a welcoming, safe and hospitable environment at the meal site.

Each morning, clean, sanitize, and re-stock supplies in public bath rooms.

Put creamers & butters on tables, Put juice on table just before 11 am. Get Tea Water Ready, & make coffee

Help get bags ready for Meals-on-Wheels route daily.

Wash all pots, pans, and equipment used for meal preparation.

Wash all dishes, utensils, and glassware from dining room.

Collect all trash & recycling from meal site and remove to dumpster on a daily basis.

Sweep, mop and sanitize kitchen floor, dining room floor, and vacuum hall way on a daily basis.

Laundry-Towels & aprons for kitchen twice weekly.

Assist with receiving weekly milk orders and monthly food orders, lifting boxes/crates, and moving to supply shelves, and refrigerators/freezers.

Follow all sanitization procedures.

Assist with loading meals-on-wheels into drivers vehicles, if driver allows.

Schedule: Monday through Thursday 7:30 a.m. 2:30 p.m.

Hourly wage: Depends on experience

Benefits: 10 paid holidays per year, daily lunch, and 1 week paid vacation after 3 full years of employment.
