The Packaging division of the Global Manufacturing Science and Technology (GMSAT) is recruiting a Packaging Principal Expert on a permanent contract.

If you are a Packaging Expert with a strong enthusiasm to develop a large variety of packaging, using your rigor to implement robust packaging systems, your creativity to develop innovative technology, this is an exciting opportunity to join our team.

The missions are

By defining the standards, by evaluating the performance and the compliance, by continuously improving the baseline, you will actively contribute for a reliable supply of our animal health products.

  • You are the "go to" technical Packaging Expert for Global MSAT

  • You contribute to BIAH projects, you lead cross-functional packaging projects and execute independent technical deliverables

  • You define new technologies to support future innovative manufacturing platforms

  • You facilitate, distill, and integrate information into the technical body of knowledge for BIAH products and processes

In close collaboration with R&D for the selection of packaging concept and for ensuring the robustness of new product industrialization, with all sites and subcontractors to contribute to an uninterrupted and unconstrained supply of quality product at a competitive cost of goods, with Sourcing for packaging secured and sustain sources, with Quality Assurance to establish standards, with Regulatory Affairs to contribute to submissions.

Competences & Aptitudes:

Demonstrated competences & aptitudes

  • Expertise in packaging materials, packaging functionalities, packaging processes

  • Thorough understanding and process knowledge of

  • Pharmaceutical Quality System

  • Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP)

  • New product development and product lifecycle management processes

  • Fluency in French and English

  • ability to adapt communications and truly engage diverse audiences,

  • International/intercultural collaboration

  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally

Preferred competences & aptitudes

  • Training and leadership in Agile Management preferred

  • regulations and regulatory guidance for industry

  • additional language skills

Profile

  • Master’s degree (packaging or polymer) with 7+ years in packaging development experience in pharmaceutical industry

  • Master’s degree (packaging or polymer) with 12+ years in packaging development experience with a strong experience in primary packaging

  • Additional qualification in project management (Lean, agility) is an advantage

  • Expertise in novel technologies or sciences is an advantage
