$5,000 sign-on bonus only for Full Time with two-year commitment Our growing surgery department is looking for an experienced surgical tech or scrub nurse to join our team. We are looking for a detail-oriented person with a desire to provide high quality care to our patients. Must have excellent communication skills. Part Time position - no weekends, holidays or call! * Responsible for handling the instruments, supplies, and equipment necessary during the surgical procedure. * Maintain the necessary knowledge and ability to ensure quality patient care during the operative procedure. * Responsible for procedures related to cleaning, sterilizing, and assembling of equipment, supplies and instruments for use in medical and surgical interventions. * Prepares and maintains the sterile operating field for the duration of each surgical procedure. * Assists the surgeon as needed during the intra-operative procedure. * Assists with room turnover in O.R. suites between cases. * Performs accurate instrument, sponge, needle, and blade count. * Performs other duties as assigned
