Insight Global Aggregate Plant Manager in Madison, California

Job Description

Our client is seeking an Aggregate Plant Manager to join their team in Madison, CA. The Aggregate Plant Manager will be responsible for managing the daily operation of the sand mine including supervision of the salaried and hourly employees in the plant. They will be responsible for tracking and maintaining costs in the sand mine operation, maintaining equipment and day to day maintenance, purchasing of regular materials for the plant operation, directing production to achieve production goals. They will be responsible for maintaining a safe and environmentally compliant operation including operational compliance with zoning and related permits and ensuring all MSHA and local safety requirements are met. This position is a standard work week but requires flexibility to work late or some weekends if an issue arises.

Skills and Requirements

5-7 years of aggregate plant experience

3+ years of supervisory experience managing operations in an aggregate plant

Experience with a plant control system and how the logic works

Proficiency within Microsoft Office Suite Experience with SAP

Experience managing union employees

Bachelors degree with a focus in Mining, Civil Engineering or Mechanical Engineering

Experience with Surpac Quarry null
