JOB REQUIREMENTS: Job Summary: About the Position: This position is a part of our Transportation department within the Facilities Planning and Management Division at UW-Madison. This position will assist the Assistant Vice Chancellor as part of the Transportation Services senior leadership team in the parking compliance, facility maintenance, parking operations, fiscal, administrative, and customer interface functions of the department, which provides an array of parking-related services for the University campus community. Will also manage and assist with developing and overseeing production, communication, and/or distribution of informational material related to Transportation Services including maps, brochures, permits, orientation material, construction projects, delays in service, etc. This position will implement and supervise standard operating procedures for ensuring that Transportation services meet or exceed customer expectations which includes complaint resolution by responding and surveying customers for feedback. Will oversee the parking operations (parking compliance, field services, facility maintenance, and parking operations units) and parking services (special events and marketing customer services, appeals and communications team) units. The expected schedule for this position is Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. About our Transportation Services department: UW Transportation Services is a department within Facilities Planning and Management (FP&M) on the UW-Madison campus. We serve a variety of customers with a diverse set of parking and transportation needs. Transportation Services is responsible for the coordination and administration of all transportation-related services for the UW campus community. Primary functions include the sale/management of parking permits, special event coordination, maintenance and enforcement, construction coordination, lot and booth operations, citation payments and appeals, information technology, financial, transportation planning, and development of multimodal options.
