As a Maintenance Technician, you will: Satisfy service requests such as light electrical, plumbing, appliance repair, HVAC/PTAC maintenance, etc. Prepare apartments for turnover, may include painting, appliance repair/replacement, plumbing, lock changes, etc. Manage curb appeal by inspecting and cleaning grounds and buildings. Assist with snow removal as needed. Complete on-call emergency maintenance. Maintenance Technician Qualifications: Must have your own vehicle and a valid driver\'s license. Previous maintenance experience required. Ability to work on call hours, if needed. Ability to travel between properties. Mechanical aptitude and experience in servicing, troubleshooting, diagnosing, repairing, and installing a variety of items such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing, drywall, carpentry, standard appliances and pool maintenance (if applicable). Must be able to read work orders / service requests. Dependable and strong work ethic. Good safety habits. Ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people. Why work with us at Gorman?
