salary: $62,000 - $65,000 per year

work hours: 8 AM - 4:30 PM

Responsibilities

  • Maintain proper stock levels of equipment categorized SKUs at each location.

  • Run daily reports to analyze stock needs within the company's business plan and budget.

  • Maximize inventory turns while minimizing stock outs or lost business.

  • Understand company's vision for residential and commercial order plans to maximize discount opportunities.

  • Execute DLS Container replenishment orders.

  • Collaborate with sales managers to move obsolete or slow-moving stock.

  • Create purchase orders and submit them for processing to vendors, maximizing freight and purchase discounts.

  • Set up products in the operating system for both stock and direct orders.

  • Set and maintain ordering controls at the branch level.

  • Participate in decisions for product introduction and phase-outs with senior management.

  • Set and maintain Min/Max points on stocked equipment based on input from senior management.

  • Contribute to pre-season stock purchase orders, analyzing sales benefits versus operational effects.

  • Set up and maintain supersedes and substitutions in the operating system.

  • Rebalance inventory at all locations to prevent aging stock.
